Why can't I burn a CD? |
To create audio CDs with iTunes, you must have a supported CD-RW drive and the CD authoring software must be installed. All Apple CD-RW drives work with iTunes. For the latest information about other drives, see the iTunes Web site.
If you have a supported drive, and when you click the Burn button a message says that no burner or software was found, other CD burning software may be conflicting with iTunes. Or, you did not install the CD authoring support files when you installed the iTunes application. See the About iTunes document in the iTunes folder for important information about using non-Apple CD-RW drives.
Make sure you have Mac OS 9.1, or the latest version of Mac OS X. You cannot burn CDs using earlier versions of the Mac OS.
